I jumped back into the CJ4 after a while (havent flown it since at least the last big update) and the screens are all black.
I tried several things, starting cold and dark and starting from the runway but its always the same. The avionics are on but all screens, PFD, MFP, FMS, etc., are black. Even when popped out onto other screens, its all just black.
I am on Pc and not running any mods. I tried unplugging all peripherals and turning off all support programs, including not popping out the screens. But the problem presists, even when running MSFS bare bones. Also, no such issues in any other aircraft I tested.
Any help would be much apprechiated.

If you’re the same person currently asking questions in the Working Title Discord CJ4 Channel, you’re getting the best advice possible over there right now.
The only thing to suggest is confirm what you believe is your Community Folder is the same folder the sim is looking at. Locate UserCfg.opt file, open it and scroll to the last line. That’s the Packages folder path ( containing both Official and Community folders). Make sure that path and what you believe is your Community folder match up. Sometimes there are multiple Community folders created based on reinstalls and moves of the Packages folders.

I would start the sim in safe mode, or move the community folder out to first rule out it isn’t an add-on causing the issue. Most issues are caused by add-ons so worth ruling out first.
Might be worth visiting. Someone is having the exact same problem as you it seems.

Ran into this problem tonight and after a lot of poking around it was the fms to ipad software DementedMonkey plugin loading from the community folder (in the profile appdata folder) causing it. Black screens and the throttles wouldn’t move. Removing it (then later upgrading it) to version .6 fixed it.

Glad you got it all working, as I said above 99% of the time its a community addon that causes the problems.

Yep ! Gotta admit that one is on me. I didnt look properly and instead made an assumption. And that makes … well, you know.
