Clear2Land v0.17.2 — Release Notes
Action Required: Database Sync
Due to major improvements in how we process aircraft and airport data, all users must re-run their preferred scanner (either the new Native scanner or LNM) after updating. This one-time step is required to synchronize your library with the new data architecture and classification fixes.
Performance & Optimization
Faster Startup: Significantly reduced application loading times.
Smoother Navigation: Improved loading speeds for all table views.
Data Reliability: Resolved a race condition to ensure local database settings are saved permanently.
Aircraft & Airport Scanner
New Native Scanner: Added built-in support for MSFS and X-Plane 12. You can now scan your library directly within Clear2Land without needing Little Navmap (LNM).
Scanner Logic Fixes: Resolved an issue where the LNM scanner would overwrite Airport Data provider settings.
Improved Accuracy: Better detection for third-party aircraft and corrected the Pilatus PC-24 classification to “Business Jet.”
Global Coverage: Fixed missing airport data for regions in South Korea.
Job & Flight Operations
Smart Generation: Added custom scenery support and refined logic to ensure fixed-wing aircraft are no longer assigned to helipads.
Long-Haul Support: Increased the NM range per aircraft type to allow for longer, more realistic flight assignments.
AI Crew Logistics: Introduced crew rotation logic to minimize route delays.
Enhanced Job Board: Added a new Card View and improved the clarity of workorder delay messaging.
Regulations & Compliance
Global Standing Reset: Following fixes to the FAA/EASA/TC tracking logic, all pilot standings have been reset to “Good Standing.”
Regulatory Fixes: Corrected Flight Time Limitation (FTL) bugs and resolved the EASA CAMO requirement fulfillment issue.
UI & Navigation
Collapsible Interface: Both the sidebar and its sub-menu items are now collapsible to maximize your workspace.
Refined Settings: Aggregated tabs and moved Language preferences into the main Settings menu for a cleaner layout.
Table Improvements: Implemented Sticky Headers for better readability in long lists.
Better Visibility: Improved the interface for deleting routes in the HUB and various other management sections.
Bug Fixes
Logbook Refresh: Fixed an issue where the Logbook page would not automatically update upon job completion.
Financials: Resolved pilot balance refresh errors and display issues when switching profiles.
Schedule Editor: Fixed a bug where the Edit/Save window would close prematurely when creating a new route.
Map Tweaks: Improved the precision of the “red dot” landing calculation on runways.
