… cleared for landing, go arround, cleared for landing, go arround …
When will this bug be resolved? Today was really hard. I had to stop 11 (in words eleven) times while trying to land at Miami Int. and when the Tower asked me to go arround again I was seconds from touchdown.

ATC has a lot of issues and doesn’t work properly IMHO. Many of the folks that I know who are flight simmers simply don’t use it.

Use Simbrief and Navigraph and set up a proper flightplan. You’ll soon come to realize that you’ll have no further use for ATC.

AI Flow and AI Ground alleviates a lot of the slow traffic and separation issues at larger Class airports.

If runway is clear, just ignore it and land…

One has to just accept that ATC is not working as hoped in that moment and just land.

  1. Trying to find the airport you’re trying to land at.

  2. Landing on the runway that you have setup in the FMC, etc, only to have it assign you a completely different runway.

I’m still getting assigned a different runway than what I picked out manually using the FMS/FMC. I even tried to disable and reenable the option. I didn’t file a flight plan.

Without ATC it is less immersive. It would be fine if they just do their job properly.

I do so but it destroys the immersion if you get scolded for nothing and only the stupid sw or the devs are to blame.

ATC has been a work in progress for over 25-30 years. I get the fact that not having it ruins the immersion, but doing without it is the lesser of the 2 evils.

Anyone that wants serious ATC will be using Vatsim.
