I’ve been using MSFS 2020 since Beta testing, and have run custom cameras for every single aircraft since day one. Not once did I have the issue described above.
In MSFS 2024 the first aircraft flown in a session always seems to work as expected, i.e. my custom views, and custom-view shortcut keys/buttons take me to where I set the view up for that particular airframe.
BUT when I switch to a second/third/fourth airframe without quitting and relaunching the sim the (custom) views are messed up (except for a few custom view I never used in the previous airframe?).
I suspect what is happening is that each airframe has a unique reference point to which the custom cameras are linked (X, Y, Z), then when a second aircraft is loaded in a single sim session the now-in-system-memory reference point is not cleared, so the X, Y, Z co-ordinates referenced by the custom view positions itself on the previous aircraft’s reference point. If this is indeed the problem, then it should be an easy enough fix if Asobo considers it important … ![]()
