Cockpit disappears hours into the flight

So I fly several hours into the flight over the pond and this happens somewhere over the arctic. Help…?

Adding another image with my camera setting so you do not think I am bluffing…

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

flying over the arctic cannot be done… you’ll end up in a low poly hell first… and then tilt, and then crash on a miles long single triangle. Earlier, I tested the South pole at 89.7xx degrees and down… very funny experience. I did not know it affects the autopilot too. Guess the model thinks you are very far away from the copilot, because the Earth’s medians are very close by, near the arctic ?

But they said we could go anywhere… :anguished:

Dude I had the same issues to that I asked on here without any reply…
Hopefully you get a actual reply and a fix…

It seems to only happen when I do a long (1 hour plus in real life) flight as in, even if I use the time compression but my flight still goes over that time… I have only done long flights in the 787 and the A32nx, and it has happened to me for both aircraft.
I have done three or four long flights 787, Auck-Sing-Jordan and also Auck to Adelaide, and it has happened on all of them when the cockpit blanks out like that, you see the co-pilot and the only way I can fix it is when you go into the settings in flight and fiddle with your pilot avatar , but it does it regualry throughout the flight so I had to do it many times and then the game lags big time to the point of one frame rate per second leading into decent and arrival…
It is so F#$% frustrating… Especially after a long flight and when that major lag sets in during the decent and landing. It also (787 speaking) seems to muck up… clears your logbook data for that entire flight…
The short hops like Sydney to Auckland-in the 787/A32nx, I have never had the problem but only the long flights (sim rate was used on all of those flights…)
It has happened also when flying the A32nx on one of the longer flights I have done like the Auck-Adelaide (also with increased sim rate) It’s almost like some sort of time out thing, a combination (for me) when you do a long flight along with the increased sim-rate when you go over x amount of hours you seem to get these issues…
Be interesting if you used the sim rate increase

Yup, so this is a 787. I find the 747 hard to control on the ground. At least I got somewhat used to the 787. I have not spent much time in the Airbus. I’m a Boeing guy. Still waiting on PMDG for their magic. Captain Sim 777 is a joke too.

So to keep everyone updated, over Canada, some 800 nm to my final destination (KORD), the panel reappeared and everything returned to normal. No performance hit…yet.
