Hi, I have found some old threads speaking about this but all seemed to die and get locked so I’m asking it again.
I’m using MSFS with a Reverb G2 and want to remove any immersion breakers. To me, seeing any dots or blue highlited objects in the cockpit is an immersion breaker so I had set the “accessibility” - “Cockpit interaction system” to Legacy. This has gotten rid of the blue highlights on objects in the cockpit as I look around. But there are two issues
The accessibility option is now greyed out so I can’t seem to set it back even if I wanted to.
I notice when flying, if I press the increase throttle button on my controller, it has no affect if I’m looking at some objects in the cockpit. If I look away from those objects, for example out the window/down at the throttle itself, the throttle can be seen to then start to move. I can easily reproduce by staring at say one of the in-cockpit screens. As soon as I point my head up or to the side, the controller buttons immediately start working again.
There is a bug where if your mouse cursor is over an open toolbar window then many of the controls fail to work. The solution is to move your mouse to another location off a window. Maybe that’s what you’re experiencing.
Thank you. I’ll try to find that bug or do you know where it is? It is affecting me in every flight now. I can’t throttle down to land in some aircraft unless I’m looking in a good spot / or I guess if the mouse is in some good spot.
Is anyone aware of a bug written on the cockpit interaction mode greyed out? If not I’ll log a bug on it.
