Cockpit lighting issues in the FBW A32NX

Gday (my first post)

For awhile now since I think the last FBW update, I have had lighting issues in the cockpit. I use a Honeycomb Alpha, and my beacon light and nav light switches in the cockpit works and turn on and off. But my strobe lights are constantly on and flashing, I cannot flick the switch in the cockpit with my mouse (a line in a circle appears when I hover over it) or on the Honeycomb to turn them on or off, they just constantly flash. I have problems with my taxi and landing lights aswell.

Anyone come across this and know how to fix? I have cleared and reset the Honeycomb settings to see if that would fix it but the problem still remains as I still cant flick the switches with the mouse. I’ve tried to use the FBW discord but they just gave me notes on what sequence to use the lights! So I am trying here. Would just like to sort it out if possible as its embarassing sitting at the gate with the strobes flashing away!

Thanks

The fundamental issue is probably that those light switches you have problems with are all three-position switches and the Honeycomb Alpha hardware switches are two-position. I don’t know how you would map those.

Myself I don’t even try, I use the mouse to toggle them. But for that to work I have to delete all light related key bindings from all controllers (Honeycomb Bravo and X-56 in my case) or the hardware switches will interfere with the mouse click toggles.

Thanks for the reply. They worked perfectly using the Alpha before the update so not sure what went wrong.

Under General Options, Accessibility, User Interface, Cockpit Interaction System, are you in legacy or lock mode?
If you are in lock mode, switch to legacy.

Hi
I am having the lights problem too. None of the lights come on.
I do not have them binded. I just use mouse.
I have done fresh install and even removed everything out of the community folder.

Got all excited and checked that, but it was already on Legacy. Thanks anyway, after some past updates, my Global Rendering Quality in Graphics had changed from Ultra to Low, so it was worth checking this to see if that had changed.

I do get the “line in the circle” as well, but only on one switch (one of the radio knobs on the console).
I find that if I move the mouse around gently over and around the immediate area of the switch, the finger extends on the hand of the mouse pointer (ha ha !) and I can then use the switch.
It is tricky to get that to work, but I always have been able to do so.

The new sim update has fixed the strobe problem, but now I don’t have any NAV lights!
