How do I shut em off? the popups that come up when you put the courser over the yoke or heading altitude dial! Christ!

If:
Options > General Options > Accessibility > Cockpit Interaction System > Legacy

Then:
Options > General Options > Accessibility > Instrument Name Tooltips > Off

If:
Options > General Options > Accessibility > Cockpit Interaction System > Lock

Then:
Options > General Options > Accessibility > Instrument Name Tooltips > Off
Options > General Options > Accessibility > Instrument Description Tooltips > Off

It’s just a setting. No need to get so worked up over something you can just disable/enable in the menu.

Plus if you are flying a new, complex aircraft, you probably want to enable it again.
