SO a new bug is cockpit / flying tips even when they are off in the settings. WTF??? This just started after my CTD’s stopped. And no more taxi guidance.
not sure. after turning off them cockpit tooltips I never saw them again.

That seems to more of an intermittent thing. For me it mostly works except when it doesn’t. Kind of like flights ending when they are supposed to and having my flights (as well as takeoffs and landings) logged properly in the log book…
BTW, navigraph charts will give you moving map for airport navigation (which is actually what I normally use for custom airports where I know that parking matches real life). If you don’t want to pay for navigraph (which is well worth the money for any serious IFR pilot), just let the AI copilot handle taxiing to parking when the ribbon doesn’t work. The latter is a very good option to help ensure that your flights get logged properly.

these are quite different things. and I’m not sure what the bug is… as there is no real complaint what is actually not working as expected.

this is an “Aircraft System Tip” (“Flying Tips” will also appear in that kind of way)

You are right. I was the one who started the confusion. OP was indeed talking about textual flying tips and I thought he was talking about tooltips.

The issue was these options turned themselves on after the last update. It wasn’t just the TBM, and I was trying to turn them off on the main menu options.
