To always 100% of the time get takeoffs logged at uncontrolled airports, temporarily turn on the taxi ribbon and follow that ribbon to the runway and stop so the ribbon behind you turns off. After doing that, you can taxi to any different runway you need to use for takeoff, e.g. one with a headwind instead of a tailwind, and it will still record the takeoff.
I know this because I have done this ridiculous exercise for over 2 years while waiting for this to be fixed, every time I fly out of an uncontrolled airport and I have always had the takeoff recorded. Fortunately, most of the time the taxi ribbon runway is the correct runway for the wind conditions.
