Combination Key Binds Issue

I have tried to set custom combination keybinds, such as Ctrl+C+T, however it appears that MSFS is performing events on key press down rather than key release, meaning that if there is anything bound to an individual input, it also triggers that function when multiple keys are pressed in combination. I have not encountered this issue in other games and have always been able to create combinations using keys that are also assigned to other functions individually.
