Anyone who’s been at flight simulation any length of time will probably admit what keeps them coming back is, loosely described as ‘having (lots of!) stuff to do’. I really like what I’m seeing in MSFS, but already I’m missing what is required to manage an airliner from gate to gate. For me, having been at this for decades, it really took FSCaptain to have me wanting to come back and use the sim very regularly. In Prepar3D, this nifty little program gives me ‘a reason to fly’ as it monitors my piloting behaviors, scores them w/ each flight, and is even wonderfully integrated w/ Ground Services X I & II, and keeps a record of my flights and my and my airline’s companie’s financials. I guess w/o a robust SDK it’s not possible to get the complex airplanes that keep us interested and busy. So yes, keep moving as able MS/Asobo on getting to this point which is where, IMO, sustainbility fully depends on. Right now I do all longer flights in P3D using the wonderful PMDG & Majestic planeware, then will hope over to MSFS to do short IFR hops after landing the big birds in larger terminals. I look forward to the day I can fly those planes in MSFS as well as add FSCaptain, whose devs are waiting in the wings no pun intended for the moment it will be possible to integrate fully into MSFS. For now though, just fabulous what MS/Asobo had already done w/ this great new FS. Cheers
I most certainly have “lots of stuff to do” in this flight simulator.
It’s called flying.
