Comms 1 and 2

Hi All
Is there a way to have both Comms 1 and 2 active without having to select the comm channel in the ATC window.
Would be nice to have both channels going at the same time as in real life.
Thoughts and advice gladly accepted

Yep, on most planes you can do that. Depends on the plane where the switch / touchscreen button is though.

Typically that’s what a pilot will do. They’ll use Com 1 as their main communication, and monitor only on com 2 for things like ATIS or the unicom frequency for an uncontrolled airfield as they’re approaching.

How to do that depends on the plane you’re in. For most of the basic G1000, it’s one of the buttons on the strip between your PFD and MFD.
