Community folder help

Is it ok to put my community folder to my D drive when the rest of my game is installed to my C drive? If so how?

You can use the add-on linker to put all your add-ons on D which will link back to the actual community folder on C

It should be no problem. A negative might be if your D drive is an HDD (rather than an SSD like your C drive might be), then it might cause longer load times and maybe a pause in the sim.

Like a pause in-flight? Just want to do this for space saving

It’ll probably be fine. Just something to watch for if the sim hangs for a second when flying into an add-on scenery area.

If it’s scenery or airports then quite possibly.

Alright thanks everyone!
