Company plane crashed

that is the main problem, u make 1 mistake or the game glitches out your screwed

Fair enough. Guess I’ll remain a company worker instead of owner until those bugs are dealt with.

I would say that since potentially career destroying bugs and crashes will always be a concern, there should be some sort of manual save option that lets you revert to a prior point in time that you can try again.

A function like that should be implemented as fast as possible until the bugs are on a acceptable level.

There is a repair key you can bind as well! Unfortunately, my career mode is busted so it doesnt help me any. But it does repair the plane to new if youre just trying to enjoy the rest

And does it do this at no charge in career mode?

like now i have fixed my plane but no flaps so i always land at full speed and i can never slow down

or its just super unbalanced with the cost, of everything like i said i made 1 mistake and now im stuck with a broekn airplane that can never slow down

You can repair the plane though, is it bugged and not fixing the parts you’re repairing?

it fixedf the most important parts but my flaps dont work so i can never slow down during landing leading to more crashes

How much are the flap and brake repairs? I’m just curious to see how much of a grind you may be looking at.

The times I’ve crashed I just restarted or aborted, IIRC. I don’t think it counted it against me. It’s annoying but hasn’t ruined the experience for me.

Tried the same - but got a freeze and after restart I lost reputation and had to pay 20k+ for repairs, Tried again with same outcome but with no budget for repairs. Now im broke with a broken heli.

Do a forward slip to slow down! You don’t need no flaps in a C172!

Doesn’t work for me. I always end up going at max speed.

it says my flaps are working but when im in my company plane pressing on the keybind and the button in the cockpit doesnt move them so idk what is wrong

A quick search suggests the Skyhawk has electrically operated flaps. A shot in the dark for me, but my guess is the flaps themselves are ok, but it’s one of those malfunctioning electrical systems causing the problem. I also noticed the other day in another aircraft that I could pull fuses on the fuse panel, but I didn’t think to experiment to see if that’s actually a functioning part of the sim. Have you checked that you don’t have one pulled for flaps that could be reset?

what do you mean ā€œpulled for flapsā€? and all my ā€œvitalā€ parts are fixed but like i said pressing the flaps button doesnt do anything and thats what i always use to slow my aircraft down for landing (yes pointing the nose up and then trimming down doesnt work for me)

And when i start a mission i skip everything except for the cruise so i never miss anything during steup so theres something in the plane that needs Maintenace or the game is just broken because in the game it says my flaps are fixed in when flying they never work

It’s been a bit hard to follow because you’ve only shown part of your repairs list and have continuously said your flaps are not fixed, but should be, or something like that. I thought you were using a Skyhawk, but are you using a basic 172? I found this, and apparently it’s a bug in the sim and not related to career mode.

There is a link to the bug report thread in a comment in that link as well.

The crash, per his comment, caused $200k of damages.

im using the cessna 172, skyhawk. and my flaps work with every with all the other planes and the cessna when not using the company one

its just that the company ones are broken because i crashed once and it destroyed everything and after that crash i only repaired vital parts including my flaps but for some reason i cant move them up and down and the flaps is what helps me land my plane without them im always going too fast and can never make a landing

and the post you linked isnt the same as my issue
