Not sure if is just me but why I feel that DC design Concorde acceleration is slow during take off even with afterburner.
Also anyone managed to fly with full fuel and payload ?

Moved to User Support Hub User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems that is more appropriate to get support from the community.
No idea how realistic it was but the old FSFrance one could not get airborn at Heathrow without afterburners, and with afterburners just barely did.
Like starting a car going in 2nd or even 3rd gear. And IIRC you had to keep a lowish rate of climb too. Like the real one, it flies in a very specific profile. Its not like a F-(pick a number).
Yes you can, but you need a very long runway (12000 ft +) at very low altitude (< 500 ft) and cool temperature (< 20C).
By any chance do you guys know how to stop the alarm in the cockpit. Very loud and annoying.
Then can I say that is impossible to take off with full tank?
Also not all international airport have 11k feet runway so means I really limited to a few?
Over speed is usually the reason. Stay below the barber pole.
Dam that alot thx.
Could you maybe explain further under what condition and which airport can concorde take off with full load?
It also came to Richmond, Virginia (KRIC) once for an airshow – 9K foot runway.
Obvious question but have you made sure you’re using the latest version?
I hadn’t used Concorde in a while and it was also very slow on takeoff.
Updated to the latest version and flies fine again.
latest version is v1.0.6 right ?
Yes it is.
I sort of found a work around to it but still requires a long runway.
at the start of the runway enable parking brakes, then go full throttle with the afterburner to build the momentum, once ready release the parking brake to give it slightly better launch.
With this at least I am able to put full tank with about 50% load at around 12000ft of runway.
