I think my PC is good for MSFS2024. But i dont like the borders. In the Videos on startup, it looks good, but in the SIm not.
With luck i get 30 - 40 FPS. Is this ok, for this Configuration, or i am doing something wrong. Any Ideas?

Are you running in windowed mode under your graphics settings? If so, set it to full screen.

Also not sure what you mean by borders looking at your screenshots.

i mean, the picture is warped right and left - because of wide screen. Difficult to explain

That’s just the way computer graphics are rendered. Nothing we can do about it.

Zoom in and it will be better, zoom out and it get worse.
It’s the way it is rendered.

I was going to refer you to the widescreen adjustable view wishlist thread but it appears that your post was originally in that thread and a moderator spilt it out into this mini thread with an unsuitable title? It’s confusing sometimes.

C’mon mods!
It’s not about configuration help.
It’s simply that the projection is complete ■■■■ for wide-screens. Just compare it with P3D and Xplane. Both are ways better even on default WITHOUT any configuration as they do not have this awful extreme pincushion distortion.

And as you decided to split it off to “configuration help”
We’re still waiting for your guidance how we can configure away the rendering distortion.

And no
“zoom in” doesn’t resolve it. It just ensures tha we can’t see our instruments anymore.

So please compare it yourself. Set the same plane at the same location in MSFS, P3D and Xplane and you will see what we mean.

There are dozens of threads included distortion corrected screenshots as well

A post was merged into an existing topic: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus edition not configurable

Exactly why I got rid of my widescreen monitor and went back to 16:9.
The edge distortion looks awful. Maybe if ‘projection’ is fixed in the future I’ll go back, since widescreen can add to the immersion.
