Confusion about metar status

FS 2020 still no metar. Yesterday I saw the overall message about the metar failure that directs to a link of online services. In that link I see that live weather is online for 2020 and 2024. It also directs to what to do when you still have no metar (data on and of and or syncronise). So now I wonder: is the metar still offline or is the problem solved and im just unlucky having no metar? Why directing to a link that shows that metar is online?

Hi @Hiigarajazz

We’ve received confirmation that this issue has been resolved on both MSFS 2024 and MSFS (2020). Can you provide some further details as to where the METAR reports aren’t showing for you? Do you have any screenshots we can take a look at?

Thanks
The MSFS Team

I dont have any METAR or TAF pulling through onto the EFB. While live weather is working in the sim, its difficult to plan your flight

Hi @judgey2024,

I’ve just confirmed that I’m able to see correct METAR reports that are accurate for the date and time, within the EFB for MSFS 2024.

Are you able to provide some further details and screenshots of this not presenting correctly for you?

I’ve sorted it….needed to change the EFB to simulator weather

Moved to User Support Hub > Weather & Live Weather as OP was requesting assistance & has found the solution to the issue.

Problem solved: metar is working again. Topic can be closed

I’m on Fenix, how to make EFB to sim weather?

Thanks

Sorted it, thanks anyway.

I’m curious, how do you change the efb to simulator weather? For me it’s always sim weather.
