- Yes. You can start xconn and quit it at any time. All it does is send information it gets from simconnect over your network
- Yes. When you’re using Avare with MSFS, you’ll change the option in Preferences/GPS/GPS Position Source from “Built in GPS Only” to “Avare Apps Only”. When you’re done, you change it back from “Avare Apps Only” to “Built in GPS Only”, at which point it’s working as before. And, yes, I’ve been getting ready to fly and realized I forgot to do that… “How come it’s not receiving GPS???.. Oh, yeah…”
