The moment you connect to VATSIM while at the gate causes a CTD.
This issue was raised with me by another user and I tested it out and experienced the same.

Start your sim up
Load into any airport
Start up vPilot and connect (may that be online or observer mode)
PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
Intel i7 10700k
32GB RAM 4000Mhz
RTX 3080Ti
2x 4TB WD SSD
LG OLED C2 42" 3840x2160
Settings : All Ultra
