Same here in Germany. Update went through in the afternoon, now no data connection possible. Sim is working, but no online functionality whatsoever.
Across the board it seemsā¦same here in Australia. It could be related to extreme traffic volumes following SU6.
93.05MiB of the 8.85GiB downloaded and mine is dead in the water. Woohoo! NOT!
It said it would try again at repeated intervals. Anybody know what is the length of time for one interval? 30sec? 2 hours? ā¦

Has anyone suggested doing updates by region? I wouldnāt mind as an American if Uk/Asia/Australia had updates before I did. Like UK day 1, Australia day 2, etcā¦
Iām sure there might be some people jelly that other regions get an update first, but in the grand scheme of things it might be a lesser evil.
Same issue here on the east coast. Marketplace is grayed out and says Iām offline but my internet is connected.
I managed to complete the update OK and got one flight. I then restarted the sim to add back in my community folder.
On second start of the sim I got the dreaded OFFLINE message.
Anyone know if the sim will come back online eventually without me having to restart the sim?
same issues here, cannot connect. I have 1 Gbps d/l speed and a hard connection, not my endā¦
Many on Avsim reporting unable to update as wellā¦
It dont matter how fast your internet connection is if the servers go down the sim is trying to take the data from to download then the fasted internet in the world will still be unable to download them you just need to wait for the servers to come back online

nope wont work look at the sim when it released. People thought they were smart by changing there windows region then hammered the servers. The funny thing is people thought they were smart doing that then they ended up having problems with the sim when they actually downloaded it.
So by trying to be smart and changing regions it actually took them longer to use the sim as they all had to uninstall the version they tricked windows into downloading then download it again THEN they all had further problems because there old install was still present in there pc and the fresh download wouldnt work.
Back to FSX until this blows over. Iāve been missing my A2A aircraft anyway. Time to get reaquainted with the Comanche or the T6 or the P-51 or maybe the Connie or even the Strat. I just wonāt look out the window cuz the scenery is, well, you know.
She really is a lot of fun to fly though! AND look! Iāve got fall foliage!

Well to be honest, the scenery (especially with ORBX Global) does look better on FSX than compared to MSFS in offline mode 
Unable to update here either. A small 10mb file downloads and then throws a āConnection Lostā error.
Hi Hester, I too am finding an issue with the SU6 update which looks to be a world wide issue. Any chance you can reach out for someone to update the website to reflect current issues / workaround in progress / ETA on fix ?

Same problem here in Houston. Not really surprised. I always cringe when thereās a new update.
Status remains offline. The main issue being the photogrammetry. No online connectivity and no photogrammetry. Multiple sign-outs and sign-ins and re-launchings donāt seem to help either.
Will have to wait till tomorrow to really evaluate the update in VR.
