Like you, I can live without the mesh, it was an improvement over the default, but not at the expense of consistent connection breaks.
I suspect the issue MAY come to the fore when Asobo releases the NZ world update next Month. Apparently it will incorporate an Orbx mesh, but hopefully one that doesn’t trigger the same connection issues!
