Is this issue specifically only happening in the Sim Update 5.1 Beta v1.7.28.0, or were you experiencing before this beta build?

I’m in Production/RTM SU5, not the Beta. However, noting your comment:
I can’t reproduce this. Connext is working on both the HJet and as a contrast/validation - Working Title/Asobo Vision Jet which both use the G3000 JS instrument.
Test Scenario: Live Weather, CYVA - I picked this airport because it’s just under the edge of heavy weather as noted in Meteoblue’s current weather radar graphical feed available to the public.

Well, I can confirm that in my case with no 3rd party add-ons installed is not working exclusively in HA420, Vision jet works ok**.**
What should I do to have it working?
I’ve just went back to live SU5 from SU5.1 and the situation is exactly the same in both builds

For others pilots information, the issue was that the maps level of detail was at minimum so, just setting it at level one was sufficient to show the weather… My fault on not to dig more on the config.
