Consistent CTD one minute after takeoff

Hi all, strange problem here: consistent CTD just about exactly one minute after takeoff. Not two minutes, not 30 seconds, but one minute. Any airport, any plane, mods or no mods, and doesn’t happen twice in a row. As in, turn on my computer, load up MSFS, I get this CTD, reload the game, exact same parameters, and everything is fine.

Can’t figure this out – anyone have any similar experience or ideas? Thanks friends!

and the 3rd time ? what happens.

And after a full re-boot

And after leaving the PC off all night ?

have you tried running any form of PC Stress test ??

My “1st Guess” with so little information would be that your symptoms are a classic symptom of Bad Capacitors.. either Motherboard or Power Supply.

2nd Guess, but not so likely, faulty Ram.

Third time is fine, too, basically any time after the first. Yep, PC off all night, etc.

Is there a specific way to run a PC stress test you’re talking about, or just google around to find something?

And what do I do about bad capacitors, motherboard, power supply, faulty RAM, etc. Do I pretty much need to buy a new PC?

Sorry, I am not super technically adept at this kind of stuff. Thanks for your help!

i am having CTD but only when selecting the A310 the sim crashed

WASM issue still ? —

@PericlesLavi Is your issue also ONLY with the A310, or with all aircraft, even with an empty Community Folder ?

as for me only with A310 i reinstall mfs2020 n same issue, i could select other ac n use the sim but as soon i select the A310 the sim crash

If it were any consultation to you (and it isn’t), if everyone else was having the same issue, it would be very busy thread here in the forum.

Wish you “luck” in finding a solution.
. (will probably need a lot of LUCK )

start with the usually hint and limit your fps in nvidia control panel ( in case you own nvidia )

Also , and also as usually, check the error message which you can find within windows event viewer.

I seem to have narrowed down the problem slightly. It’s still happening and it seems to be under two conditions: 1) using any airliner (doesn’t happen with props, etc, but happens with any airliner, whether default 787 or PMDG 737, etc), and 2) happens only when I start at the gate. If I start on the runway ready to go, it doesn’t happen. And again only happens the first time I start up the computer, doesn’t happen again after that.

I tried looking at the error reports but couldn’t make any sense of them, it was just strings of numbers and letters and codes that didn’t spell out anything in plain English.

So not quite sure what to do :). Any thoughts?
