SU12 has definitely regressed for me and the WASM is just completely broken.
I have seafront shipping, but no airport textures, no regional vehicles, some airports and a few orbx city scenery packs.
The AN225 with WASM flat out doesn’t work. The A310 is a CTD fest, maybe 1 in 4 flights doesn’t CTD but I get black screens instead.
I’ve been trying to find things to fly that work. The simple GA stuff is ok. I successfully flew the Citation CJ4 yesterday, from Arlanda to London City. Whoppee!
Two days ago the King Air gave me black screens while I was programming it at the stand at inibuilds Heathrow. Some of us have had black screens recover when flying out of an airport. I wasn’t ready to fly so I thought to try using slew mode to move myself away from Heathrow and see if the screens came back. I duly did this, slewed directly south looking for a field to stop in. Had to go quite a long way, not many fields near London! Anyway the unstarted flight was abruptly terminated with a CTD while slewing.
So frustrating that some people have few issues while others get a much worse experience, one of the reasons I chose to buy an xbox for the sim was the expectation of reliability one normally gets from console, and the saving of time from not having to screw around with drivers, OS changes, etc. Sadly that benefit is missing at the moment.
