I have been having the same issue recently. Did you ever fix this?
I have had this issue at least 3 times in the past, and it happened to me just now. I was taxiing from gate to runway and when I turn my cockpit camera around to look at the tarmac, boom a freeze happened. So my game freezes for like 10 seconds then my screen turns black and I can’t do anything with my pc anymore. This also happened very recently and I was told to make sure I do regular PC restarts cuz it might cause the issue. So, I made sure to do restart yesterday but it appears that the problem is still ongoing. Approximately a couple minutes after the black screen my bluetooth speakers still play the sounds from the game however I can hear the cockpit sounds get really choppy, as if it’s stutterin. As far as i know this has only happened in MSFS and I can’t do anything to exit it once it black screens. Cant do any keyboard stuff, cant switch desktops, even ALT F4 doesnt work. I can only shut down and turn on my pc again using the physical pc button. Also my monitor would say if there’s no signal from PC but it doesn’t say that and it’s just a black screen.
What can i do? It keeps ruining my flights, however it affects like maybe 30% of my flights. The rest are all fine with no issues. And also my PC specs are quite good too and the pc is not even 6 months old. MSFS 24 is also the only software for me that leads to this blackscreen crash event. No other application has done something like this. I am also using the latest AMD drivers 25.9.1.
PC Specs:
GPU: RX 9070XT
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
MOBO: ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI
RAM: 64GB
Internet speed: 2.5 gbps
Ive also attached a video of the issue occuring. You can see that its all working fine, however up till the point i just turn my camera left and then it freezes (and subsequently black screens after the clip is finished).

I would suggest making sure everything is updated ie: your motherboard, graphics card and windows updates. Do you use dlss swapper? Also might be worth trying run command fsc/scannow and health check.
I am getting CTDs on every MSFS2024 flight. Running on the same hardware, I never had this issue before:
Flying airliner in VR mode, the sim suddenly and silently quits into desktop with no error.
I have tried all these and none helped:
- Revert BIOS back to old stable version
- Remove all CPU and GPU overclocks
- clean community folder
- Manually clear roll cache file
- Verify and repair MSFS 2024 files in XBox
- Clean-install graphics driver using DDU
- Uninstall and reinstall whole MSFS 2024.
Can anyone help? Thank you.
