I have many Aviators Club liveries that I have not installed and would like to remove them from my Content Manager. They don’t respond to the Delete key. Is there a way to remove these entries? There are 75 of them in there.
What do you mean you have not installed?
Do you mean you have already removed them, but want the title of uninstalled items removed from the list for ever?
Or you just mean you haven’t and won’t use them?
I did not install those liveries because I don’t care for them. I would like those listings removed forever to clean up my Content Manager.
So you only see them in the “Not Installed” category, right?
Right, just in the Not Installed category. Along with one other entry I have yet to install, an update for an airport. I would like to just see that and not all of the Aviators Club entries.
OK. So I don’t think you can remove the names from there. I mean, if you did, and in future you wanted to install something again, there would be literally no way to get it back. That content can always be added back in future. There is no way to tell the system to forget items. Why do you really need to clean up that category anyway?
The “Installed” category is more important as that’s what is actually using storage space on your disk.
Just for organization’s sake. I would think there is perhaps an xml file somewhere that I would find those in. It is one of two little issues I have with my wonderful Flight Simulator.
Oh, perhaps, but I don’t know. Sorry. It might synch that with cloud though (I think it does, as people were complaining that it tried to automatically match installed content on their PC and Xbox) so that “file” might be stored IN the cloud and you can’t touch it.
I figured if I could edit the directory file it would be overwritten on next update. Thanks for jumping in and thanks for the work you do on the Top 10 Aircraft topic.

As far as I know, once you own it, you own it - unless it’s a paid item that you somehow manage to get a refund for. I currently have 114 items listed in the “Not Installed” category. Most of that is those hideous liveries that Asobo and MS came out with a few updates back.
Yes. I prefer liveries that look more like something seen on airplanes.
