Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone may have a clue why my Content Manager stubbornly refuses to work when there are more than a handful of add-ons in my community folder.I’m aware than most likely similar issues are caused due to a problematic livery or livery pack however in this case ANY livery or scenery add-on (except the 7 ones I already have) will make my Content Manager unable to show what’s inside my Community & Official folders.
Is this somekind of bug or I should try to reinstall MSFS all over again?
Many thanks!
I don’t have that problem at all, and the only times I have heard of this the issue was solved by removal of something in that folder.
Re-installing won’t fix it.
Did you try leaving out those 7 and then adding a bunch of others.
Then one by one, put the 7 back in, testing after each one to see if it is good.

it’s an issue with one or more of the mods/sceneries you have in your community folder. Make sure all your mods/sceneries are up to date. If you have found out which one is causing the issue, contact the author of the mod so they can update it for you.
It’s not an MSFS issue.

Thanks guys,I’ll try out the way you say.Strange thing is I used to have a bunch of add-ons without any problems until the last couple of days I started to be faced with the problem…!
All mods are likely to break on patch day (or worse, the mods break the sim on patch day).
Mods need to be kept up to date by you to avoid issues.
If the content manager is empty it could also mean a internet connection issue and same for the marketplace.
I wasn’t aware of this!It reminds me of Eurotruck Sim and its add-ons!
I just re-downloaded Liveries MegaPack V12 and placed all its 111 A320 liveries in my community folder. It took a couple of secs for the Content Manager to show up everything.
Beside this I just noticed something might be also related to the issue.2 scenery folders inside community folder were named (most likely by me) with spaces between the words i.e. “My Local Airport Scenery & Area”.I renamed it to “My_Local Airport_Scenery_Area” as according to all add-ons there are no names in such format neither including symbols like “&”.Do you think it could also be related?
I don’t think the spaces changed anything.
I have file names in community that are both ways.

Both scenery and liveries add-ons must be re-installed after MSFS updates or only the liveries?
A lot of people take everything out before an update.
After the update is applied, and a check confirms it works OK, they shut down the sim and reinstall them.
If everything still works OK, you are good to go.
If not, as you can see, it is a process of elimination.
The only time you normally always get an issue, is if you have a modded version of an aircraft.
These generally don’t work correct after any patch.
