First, Some of the issues I might have complained about may have been corrected because the Content Manager did not automatically download official content like the entire Premium and Deluxe Packages.
Second, I have no outside content other than the Official content in the 2020 Game of the Year Version.
Third, When I use auto pilot in the TBM930 it works great until it decides not to then proceeds go off in lala land. What I’ve seen more than a few times is that somehow the system seems to think the air craft front is the rear. The autopilot thinks the aircraft is flying in reverse or is traveling backwards. The aircraft will then Yaw, Pitch and Roll. To recreate the error simply plot a course to an airport from east to west and land. Then setup your route to get back to the original airport with everything off. After you take off get some altitude. Get ready for the ride of your sim life by pressing the AP button.
Also had this issue when I went into save a flight and came back. The aircraft acted like I hit something then I had to make an emergency landing at an AFB to save the flight. The altitude also went goofy while flying next to the mountains when I returned from saving the flight. For some reason the AP feature seems to reverse itself.
I am going to clear the cache after my upgrades complete shortly and see what happens but doing the simple airport trip and then planning a trip back to your original airport using ILS will recreate the problem without leaving the aircraft or pausing in any way.
Note: I am completely updated except for a few geographic downloads and the issue with the auto pilot settings is still occurring. It took 3 trips this time and I think when switching from APR(Approach) back to NAV mode along with GPS from VOR 1, VOR2 the screen looks good but is actually stuck in the program in the VOR landing mode. It behaves just like every axis gets reversed. The aircraft rolls, pitches, and yaws and the FD initially is correct. That’s crazy bad. I leveled the settings, made sure GPS was on, FD was on, and use VS everything looks peachy. Hit AP with YD and the aircraft immediately goes out of control… Before I took off, I used LVL to make sure the FD was correct and then hit HDG and it looked good there also. Crazy Stuff
