I’ve also been trying to find the content.xml file. When I go to the right location though, I don’t see any files.
It this something that was removed recently? Or is there somewhere else I need to be looking? I have my packages installed on a separate drive from the main install file.
You are one folder past, the content.xml is in the Local Cache file.
Be sure you have the option to show hidden folders selected.
look for a similar repository in C: drive, just because you moved the ‘Packages’ doesnt mean the config files are also moved (its possible but its 2 separate steps)
try this location for ms store version
C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
and ‘maybe’ this one for steam (im guessing here)
C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\LocalCache

The Content.xml file is no longer required, and isn’t included in the installation by default.
However, some addons specifically need it (Navigraph for one) and the addon will create one.
