I create a flight plan and complete it, coming to a rest at a ramp at the destination airport.

I shut the airplane down and go for a coffee.

I come back and the screen is still showing the view from the cockpit with the airplane cold and dark.

How do I create a new flight plan NOW without restarting the game and setting my destination as the same ramp as the plane was at?

Depends on the plane. With the 172 g1000 its quite easy on the left MFD screen.

Hopefully they will add the possibility to import a new flight plan without leaving the game

You should be able to do it manually through the G1000/3000…but it has never worked when I have tried to do so.
