Have done a few searches for this answer, and am still unclear, thanks in advance for any help provided:
When the ATC gives instruction for example, “Cessna 7G7, continue for south departure,” what is the proper procedure at that point? I’ve seen suggested that it is to hold heading until clear of the controlled airspace, which seems to make sense, but I’ve looked in the AIM as well as the Airplane Flying Handbook and am having trouble finding &/or understanding that instruction…?
