Am I missing something or is there no longer a way to confirm which button is which by pressing the button while looking at your list of assigned controls and having the corresponding assignment highlight itself?
It would appear that the only way to verify which button is which in MSFS 2024 is to use “Search by Input” and press a control button.
Sadly the old and better way is now gone.
FS2024 is also missing any kind of input indication in the axis sensitivity settings, which not only means you have the aforementioned identification hassle, but it’s also a matter of guesswork to decide what to do with your sensitivity and deadzone settings. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have FS2020 installed to check and copy from.
Nope, it’s just another glaring regression from 2020.
Yes, thank goodness that I still had 2020 installed. And as I exited 2024 and started 2020 to get the settings, it occurred to me “Why do I have to do this?”
