Description of the issue:
My control profiles cannot be renamed (they go back to the first name used when created)
When I select new missions, I found them reshuffled - even though I selected some as default - or even worse DELETED.
New settings are appearing at their place (even one called Keyboard_asobo that I never created)

I have not seen that myself (so far) … even when there are many issues with the control settings system.
However, from what you are describing this sounds like a “perfect” example of a distributed database, which lacks internal consistency due to some partition event (see the: CAP theorem - Wikipedia ). So depending on the server instance which your sim gets connected to, you get a different response.
With overloaded and stressed servers that is a likely result. And besides a reduction of server load there might not be much that anyone can do to solve that in the short term.
Obviously, this is just a guess … and educated guess.
I have the captains pack having trouble with setting the quadrant up its such a pain the joystick i have no problems with just the quadrant i have an issue with i thought asobo did all the hardware test but i guess not 2024 looks great but i cant play it the way i wanted to they should of migrate from 2020 to 2024 make it much easier

I have started having a similar issue with my Turtle Beach Velocity One Flightstick.
Random reassignment of controls partway through a flight, assignment of controls that hadn’t been set up at all.
I am playing on PC- Steam edition - standard purchase option. There are no MODS on my system as this is the first Flight Sim purchase I have had since playing Turn ‘n’ Burn: No Fly Zone on the SNES.
