All - Update - Purchased the Virpil Ace Rudder pedals, and tried to setup in MSFS last evening, what a mess it is. I got the toe brakes working fine. No rudder or nose wheel steering setting work so far. I have tried several different choices to no avail. Again the F-14B from DC Designs was my base choice. Still experimenting, but this should not be a “rocket Science Project”, this should be simple, one choice which controls all planes, no, got helicopters in that section, which may be my conflict. It’s so complicated, I believe it puts off “newbies” and they use it for 30 days and do not purchase.
In X-Plane it was a 5 minute job, deleted the old assignments for JS, and moved those to rudder pedals, like mentioned 5 minutes. Tested on F-14D and they worked fine, no I have to learn properly how to use them.
As I mentioned in above, this needs to be simplified, because a “rudder is a rudder” in every since of the word for a plane. I don’t fly helicopters, but, those settings should all be in their own group, again, as stated above. IMHO-X-Plane is just an all around easier sim to setup and fly in. And you can purchase FAA approved hardware/software and it’s then certified as a “real approved simulator”-OK, that costs 10K, but still, MSFS will never be FAA certified, as too much does not work, or is difficult to setup.
