I have a weird concern. I am editing some freeware airports, and when I add the tower, I only have one scenery object available to use, but my friend who is editing airports with me has several objects. I have tried searching by name, type, even one by one out of the entire scenery objects list, and nothing. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Most of them don’t have names related to control towers.
General airport tower, however it’s formatted, turns up. All of the other ones are attached to handcrafted airports so if you don’t have any installed they won’t be available.

Are all control towers. There are probably more.
yes, i had seen some of these in my search, and i will probably end up using them. Do you have access to more “generic” towers apart from the gen_airport_tower_1 ? Thank you for the info btw
That’s the only one in the fs-base package as far as I know.
Everything else is from hand crafted airports.
Most of those are free so you won’t be excluding people. You just need to know which airports are premium and premium deluxe and not use buildings from those.
The alternative is to use your own 3d model.
