Same issue with Virpil Ace pedals toe brakes. Correctly detected by MSFS2024 as sliders, but the axis curve in the sim is the same as joystick axis. See pics below. Windows see toe brakes as sliders, you can see MSFS2024 correctly identify them as sliders, but the axis is that of a joystick with centre in the middle. They do release if I hold them in the middle, so exactly like joystick. Was not able to fix it. What even more interesting they worek fine in Fenix A320 in MSFS2024. CHecked earleir today.
