Controls axises are not responding

Apologies, didn’t realise that was the case.

I’m baffled now though. Unlike DCS, there’s no reason to ‘tell’ MSFS whether an axis is a regular one or a slider, either automatically or manually.

As far as I can tell, it’s been designed with that info being a property of the axis. i.e. things like aileron, elevator and rudder are all regular axes. Brakes, throttles etc are sliders. It simply shouldn’t matter what Windows or MSFS labels them as from a hardware point of view.

Like I illustrated in the other topic, my MFG Crosswinds have three regular axes and no sign of sliders according to Windows and MSFS, but everything works fine.

Things clearly work ok for the majority of people, so it’s very weird that others are having problems.

I suppose that’s MSFS 2024 in a nutshell though.

Post modified:

There is no issue with the Toe brake curves specifically.

Apologies for my dumbness

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
-Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
-About devices sensitivity settings:
MSFS 2020; you can see how white dot moves on the curve as you move any lever.
MSFS 2024; you move the lever but the white dot doesn’t move, which makes setting difficult and not intuitive.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Are you releasing the Parking Brake?

I noticed this too, then realized the Park Brake was engaged while looking at the pedals.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

When trying to tune the axis curve of any control the graph display is not “live”. No moving representation is seen of the controls current position. This worked fine in MSFS 2020 but strangely missing here in MSFS 2024. No fine and precise visual tuning of the control curve is possible.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Fresh install, no mods, same behavior

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
current default behavior

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. go to control settings
  2. tune hardware axis curve
  3. Moving controller is not represented with moving controller position on the graph. It’s static.

• hi guys i found the solution
If you click elevation axis and it says scanning but does not recognize the input there is a settings cog to the right of the scannning word select that cog in the menu on the left you will see the name of the setting you are trying to bind scroll under that and you will see your joy stick keys manually select which axis you want to bind the elevator axis to cheers.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes, I have VKB SEM THQ GA and Evo F14. Both don,t work. But my Brunner Yoke and Thrustmaster Pendulum works just fine.
