This may work as a workaround in the meantime:

Thank you for this bug report! We will create an internal ticket to get this looked at. In the meantime, here is the workaround: On the default preset for Xbox Controller and Mouse, the inputs for external camera and cockpit camera are not set as an Axis.The drone camera is set up as Axis, so the up and down movement, and left and right movement, can be inverted easily using that invert input setting.
