I have a Logitech yoke+quadrant, with pedals and an extra quadrant - which are in the MSFS 2024 “Device List” and have been there from launch.
I also have a Logitech Flight Multi-Panel and a Flight Switch Panel, and an Elgato Streamdeck Plus - which are not.
I know that I am not the only one to have a problem with the Logitech items in MSFS 2024, but the omission of the Streamdeck Plus and its absence from the list was a disappointment and has renewed my curiosity.
There are probably other useful gadgets like the Logitech Radio Panel, which are excluded too.
All my devices are working well in other places, and I can use them in MSFS 2024 with the help of Spad Next, as I did in 2020. They all appear in the Windows 11 Device Manager in one place or another, and are great little gadgets. The ones that are in the list have much older and more conventional drivers (probably Saitek?).
In MSFS 2020 several posters reported that they had the Logitech devices working with some new (c. 2021) software by Logitech, and there is more dated 2024 and 2025 but I have tried this with no success.
After spending a lot of time learning the new controls setup I have built as bit of respect for it - it is not all bad, and can be very quick once “mastered” if I can call it that. Spad has its place too, but it is expensive and a pain to program sometimes. I want to try these devices in the built-in system if possible.
Does anyone know how “devices” in Windows are chosen to be in the select few in the controls UI “Device List”?
All advice gladly accepted …
