Flying along I-80 in western Utah yesterday, I noticed a big blue box on my sectional chart, a convective SIGMET, detailing thunderstorm conditions. Below you can see my position on the sectional (red star; westbound) and then the view from in front of the plane. Yep, convective weather going on! Very cool.
