Could "core parking" cause Crash to Desktop?

My motherboard has a setting whereby if I hit scroll-lock it parks the E-Cores (pretty sure it’s the E and not the P cores).

I just finished a mission, and when I hit scroll lock to bring up ATC the game CTD. I was pressing the scroll lock in flight without a problem, but after I land and was at HOLD SHORT, I press scroll lock to bring up ATC and game CTD.
