Countdown clock for updates

I suggest Microsoft add a countdown clock that works in UTC time on the main simulator and forum pages during update days, so we won’t have a bunch of simmers asking around…

I will have to disagree, imagine something goes wrong and it is delayed by an hour or a few minutes even, the forum would be set on fire.

Updates usually come at around 10am EST though

This is unreasonable, it would completely overload the server from the first moment and it would not be good for anyone.

This update for a lot of people is more desired than the release itself. At least for beta testers, who had the access to the Flight Sim anyway before the release… Really looking forward to!

Just do like me and just start and end the sim continuously every 15 months minutes while starring at the forum until your eyes bleed! Lol

BTW and a little off topic I hooked up a big woofer to my sound system, wow it adds a very big dimension.
The only bad thing is my cat disappears for hours everytime I do a flight! Lol. The sound is incredible though!!!

It seems that some people should have a personal life beyond MSFS. A countdown clock to know exactly when an update is available it seems not necessary for me. But of course I have work and family and I’m not able to spend my days thinking about MSFS and exact time to apply a patch, I have different priorities and to me it’s exactly the same to receive an update today or tomorrow.

Don’t need a countdown clock.
They could simply post at what time the update will release.

Do you mean yet more downgrades by +10 fps ?

LOL

They could also setup some notification system users could subscribe to. That way they could also control that not too many start leeching at the same time.

May be a fun thing to have for an initial release but certainly not for a patch.
