I don’t think they use Spad, I guess it’s their own driver/app. But vars should be default, since trim works in Asobo aircraft.
We use custom vars for the trim and many other things.
Spad can interface with and control the Logitech panel boxes (AutoPilot, Switch Panel etc) but when using the default Logitech driver, they are hard wired to the Asobo defaults for things. Which sometimes don’t work if the aircraft is using some other or custom thing to control those. Spad overrides that driver so you can rewire it how you want though.
Try Simtrim its really great.
