Engine damage, and statesaving have been available since release and failures for a few months now.

Oh! I must be a better pilot than I thought then! (EDIT: Maybe not, they are OFF as default. Switched it all on now so we will see!).

What about updates to the DA42 to give it all the features of native MSFS 2024 aircraft, like walkaround interaction, Asobo EFB, new LOD, wipers texture, etc. Will current owners of the 2020 version get that with an update (and when), or will it be a new plane later on?

Yes. The DA40 will be built on FS20 tech and work for both.
Evey future plane will be fs24 only.

Nope - I donât think Iâll be moving this year any time soon either. For 2024 version Iâll first need a new PC - which I wonât be able to get until some time early next year. Perhaps then.

Just wanted to say that this plane is, by far, the best GA plane for MSFS to date!!!
The level of detail, the graphics, the FM, the systems, even the wings flex and shake like in no other GA planeâŠeverything is TOP NOTCH!!

Donât get me wrong I really enjoy this aircraft also but I feel that âby farâ is a stretch. Do you not have the A2A Comanche and / or Black Square aircraft? Of course youâre entitled to your own opinion and if thatâs it then so be it.

This is one of the top threads on this forum, by far.
And the DA42 is probably the best Diamond aircraft for MSFS. But unfortunately it doesnât hover like a MV-22, or go Mach 2 like an F-22, so need to knock half a star for those issues.
