Every time I fly large planes like the 737 MAX or C-17, I always encounter high CPU usage and low GPU usage. After checking, I found that there’s no issue with VRAM usage. My setup is an i5-14600KF, 7800XT, and 32GB RAM. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Additionally, my network is working perfectly, and map loading seems to be smooth. Perhaps there’s a bug with the aircraft model.
I am having the exact same issue since day 1. The patch this week did not solve it. At some point, and it appears somewhat random, my CPU utilization skyrockets from a good 15-20% to above 80 or even 90%. As a result, the GPU’s utilization drops to 20 or 30%, along with power consumption and frames which goes into single digits. It becomes a complete stutter fest.
I cannot understand what triggers this or what to do. When this phenomenon does not occur, the sim runs as smooth as butter. My specs are above ideal (14700K, 4090, 32GB DDR5).
Anyone has an idea or a solution for this? Or we only have to hope that Microsoft/Asobo do their job and fix this?
I read in another forum that disabling virtualization in the BIOS might solve the issue
