Slower equipment would cause a hang, and windows would ask you to kill it; a fast CTD simply loading files on game start is absolutely a programmer(game, not addon) issue , it means something broke so bad that it literally cannot keep running. Remember we are talking on-load, not in-game while rendering, etc., and multiple others are suddenly having CTD issues with this plane and another.
But either way a 2500k and a rx580 are above the minimum requirements for FS2020, and shouldn’t cause a CTD regardless, not sure why you’re trying to defend that at the core of it…
