Does anyone here have a flight instrument panel connected? (The little Saitek screen with the 2 knobs beneath)
I have but they don’t do anything unless third party software is making use of them. Just had a 5 and half hour flight (with my panels not in use). Was just about to start my decent, plugged in headphones… and crash to desktop no error messages.
I use the panels in smaller planes, this time was in the A320n.
Funnys thing is I had no issues in alpha… The issue of CTD came with bbeta. And i have been complaining since and no one is helping me out… I have yet to make a single complete flight with crash… Frustration is heights… Got to try using wired kebboard and mouse…
Is anyone all of the sudden getting crash to desktop after the Cessna 172 comes up on the loading screen after the click any key page? My sim has worked fine and then all of the sudden this morning it crashes every time I try to load up the sim. Literately. I things changed except turning on my computer
Yes , i had the same crashes last night just after Cessna 172 loading.
looks like crashes act randomly , maybe there is a bug between MS servers and sim , GPU or wireless/Bluetooth issue etc etc etc
its clear that we need a patch to fix these issues
I was getting constant CTD
Deleting the rolling cache worked for me. No doubt I’ll have to delete it when full again
How can you delete the rolling cache?
It’s been consistently every time this morning for me. Not sure what’s causing it.
I think it’s called rolling cache.ooo. it was in my c:\users*,my name*\roaming\fliht SIM directory.
One of the threads on here has the name of it. I have game pass version so I am a bit locked down. I searched for the file name under the users directory. It’s 8gb, just deleted it. Apparently if you get into the game you can delete it. I set it to 60gb when I got into the game. I think when it fills it will start crashing again… been flying for about an hour
I had the same problem, for days on end. Deleting the rollingcsche.ooo file worked for me
Could you completely UNPLUG them and see if the crashes remain? I did, and it seems that they went away.
Is it rollingcache.ooo or rollingcache.ccc?
I’ve deleted my rolling cache but then it crashes and recreates the same rolling cache file. So I have not found a fix
This is EXACTLY what happened to me. I was able to play on the morning of 8/18. Logged off until the evening, and when I tried to open it, it crashes immediately after the Cessna 172 comes up. I have tried every fix I can find, with no luck.
Here is the (standard) reply I got from support to my ticket. I tried every thing there (most I had done before) but issue did not get resolved. Just be adviced that if you open a ticket these are the steps they ask you to complete before they investigate any further:

Just a automated copy paste reply. Doesnt fix the issue
Solved it for me
After I switched from Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse to wired Keyboard and Mouse I had no CTDs anymore. Before that I also applied the following mentioned “tweaks”:
- set Pagefile to “System Managed”
- Cache file on different disk (HDD) than the Sim (SSD)
Continuing the discussion from Crash to desktop without error message:
Gave it a try but didn’t work for me. I have now tried everything that was mentionned anywhere without success. I’m tired of it and wil be waiting for a patch that will hopefully arrive before Christmas
The funny thing is, that all the activities for example landing at Lukla, are working for me.
Would be interesting to know if those are working for you too.
