CTD every flight since update including safe mode. Come on this is no joke.
Quick edit, I have removed my VR headset and everything runs fine in pancake mode. It’s actually very impressive.
Will sort VR out hopefully.

guess it was just xbox crashes fixed.

Small test flight went OK, then return to menu → CTD… Not even surprised anymore…

every time that I see an update I´m like oh freak here we go again! Asobo please STOP UPDATING the sim, the worstenemy of the sim is the sim itself!

So your solution is to stop updating the sim?
Til when? Take a look at the threads in the bugs group. If they follow your advice then none of those get fixed.
For the number of times I’ve seen Exception code: 0xc0000005 in the event log after a CTD you would think that ASOBO could capture that in game and either present a message or shutdown the game gracefully with log…

I have the CTD’s for 1 year and they didn’t fix it.
1 year and still nothing changed.

The sim not gives a CTD when exiting the game. Everytime I exit the game I see the following in the eventlog (followed by a message in sim the next time to suggest a start in safe mode):

For what it’s worth I’m getting this too. Every normal exit appears to actually be a crash. And I’m still running with no addons. So guess what, the pop up to blame third party addons just pointed a finger right back to MSFS. Please fix this, I also finished reinstalling X-plane last night, maybe I need a break too. Flying isn’t fun for me right now.
I am so ■■■■■■ right now. I can’t even get the sim to accept the update. Loads, checks for updates, starts and then CTD. THEN I have to repair the dang thing and after that, It WILL NOT TAKE THE UODATE. CTD AGAIN. ASOBO, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A CLUELESS BUNCH OF PROGRAMMERS IN MY LIFE. 30+ years flight simming and NOTHING comes close to this farce. McDonalds is hiring.

Enabling rolling cache, then deleting it, then turning it off, and then on again with 20gb of rolling cache and in the graphic settings: the cache on ultra, worked for me. No more CTD. I also have disabled the AI traffic.
But i don’t know how long is it going to take until i get another CTD.
EDIT: Got a freeze in the map menu before choosing the place where i would fly. This happened right before installing the Germany map update.
EDIT 2: Had a flight for almost 2 hours, crashed while flying over New Castle.
Erm … that’s telling you that you had a CTD but I guess you might already know that

2 CTDs since yesterday update. Didn’t have any since 2 weeks. This sim is so annoying, making you lose all the progress of the flight because IDK I JUST WANT TO CRASH AND MY DEVS DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THAT! 
Check the graphics setting menu, there’s a cache setting which you can tweak, I let it on ultra.
I can’t find nothing.
