Crash to desktop without error message

Try disable bing data - no cdt for me

Cool, but what is the point? It looks like FSX without bing data and photogrammetry.

How did you determine the parking spot for the un-towered airport? I’ve tried pulling into where I thought spots are, and can never get the dialogue and logging after shutdown.

I suspect its more about telling ATC you are clear of the runway, rather than the spot itself. But I use Littlenavmap for the latter.

I have seen instances where I have deliberately parked at a spot adjacent to the one I am directed to at a tower airport, and that didn’t trigger it, only the actual spot I was assigned.

Same here, it doesn’t matter where I start the flight around minute 20 it crashes, it’s like having a trial game right now!
My question stills being the same, my father in law has the game installed in his desktop computer , his computer is 1/5 that mine in hardware and he can play for hours and hours without a single CTD

Things are really “suss” on my 16GB PC . Breathe on it and the sim crashes.

So i just flew for about 2 hours without CTD (Live weather + all Online settings enabled), homever AI Traffic was disabled completely… so something is telling me that’s what causing CTD’s (atleast for me)… next time i’ll try flying with AI enabled and see what happens.

For me, I have nothing changed, playing with all live features, AI and so on.

Before the patch I couldn´t even finish one single flight, it was horrible.

Now after the patch I haven´t any CTD´s anymore. Like I said, nothing changed in the settings, it simply works.
I can´t tell you why :man_shrugging:t2:

nvwgf2umx_cfg.dll 5miles before landing, again. flew about 1.5h above heavy weather(real time/weather as always), sea level destination 0 visibility uk61-ukbb… that’s meanly

Huh - interesting. I was flying to UKBB a little earlier today and that weather was mean. The CTD just as I started approach probably saved me … I was flying VFR in the CJ4

Actually first CTD I’ve had in a couple of weeks. I did have AI copilot Chuckie working the radios (which I don’t usually do) … There has been some suggestion this may be one of the causes of CTD … I might try again.

Anyway - another Zendesk report filed.

If you have rolling cache on, clear the cache and turn rolling cache off. Do the same with any manually downloaded cache.

i flew moded vl3 915, ifr all the time, dive to dnieper, then fly vfr/ifr by 3d synthetic(use it all time with low visibility) all distance was clouds everywhere from lviv to kyiv

Same can’t even start a flight CTD soon as hit the button to start. nothing in my community folder is showing up anymore. was fine before japan now its 100$ of trouble that they refuse to refund me on. I’ve been unable to use it since Japan update pure fraud broke product take the money and run. If this was a car I’d get a refund under the lemon law. no such luck here.

I already did that, I’ll try one more time then I’ll proceed to reinstall Windows this same night and FS 2020 again stopping first all OS updates to see if that works! That will be my last resource!

Windows re-installed to a different version, different than 2004 one, let’s see what happens, just downloading FS2020 again!

Just had another crash after about 45min Edinburgh to Manchester. Such a great flight. But at this point I’m flying dreading a potential crash and it’s soured my enjoyment.

Victor, Windows will update to 2004 here soon. MS is pushing out a KB to force everyone to it. On one of my PC, I didn’t have any problems going to 2004. The other one, still on 1909 with updates halted.

First flight - rollingcache on
Second flight - rollingchache deleted an off
Windows 2004 - newest build

Then I’ll try to not update to that one because I choose another version different than that one, I think is a 1909 or something like that, I finished installing and everything 6 hours ago, I’ll optimize a few other things and then I’ll light a candle and start the dynamic tests, that’ll be today! Let’s see what happens. :crossed_fingers:t2:

Funny, light the candle.

You will need to turn off updates in Windows 10 (can only delay it for a certain time depending on Home or Pro edition) so it doesn’t do it automatically. But sooner or later, it will be forced upon you. The joys of forced updates.
